A small press with a simple standard: every claim checked, and every book built to be inspected.
Brother Michael Junker is the author and publisher behind Latter Rain Ministry Press. A craftsman and merchandiser by trade, he has spent his working life building, repairing, and setting things in order with his hands — from cabinetry and production floors to the custom guitars he still builds in Hendersonville, North Carolina. A student of the Word for many years, he came to his subjects the hard way: asking the questions the church around him would not, and refusing every answer that could not be checked. Eleven books stand finished on his desk, built the way he builds everything — measured twice, cut once, and open for anyone to inspect.
Aniyah, as our newest member to the team, now runs the production, editorial, and design desk of Latter Rain Ministry Press — the second pair of eyes on every manuscript, and the hands behind the press’s digital work: book production, cover and page design, source checking, the website, and the catalog. Her job is the author’s standing rule applied without mercy — no claim survives on hype, every Scripture stands exactly as written, and every rating is printed where the reader can see it. If a book from this press reaches your hands, it crossed her desk on the way: measured, checked, and built to be inspected.
How We Work
Two desks, one standard. The author writes it; the desk checks it. Every claim in a Latter Rain Ministry Press book is tested against solid sources before it is printed, every Scripture is quoted exactly and read in its context, and every conclusion carries its rating in plain sight — certain, strong, disputed, or beyond the evidence.
We are a small press, and we mean to stay an honest one: no hype, no padding, and nothing on the page we can’t show our work for.
